The Cité du Cinéma : guided visits and private hire

Moma Sélection have just opened their latest venue on the banks of the Seine. An opportunity to immerse oneself in the seventh art, the Cité du Cinéma is an ambitious project, spearheaded by French director Luc Besson.

Bringing together talented actors and film industry professionals within its numerous studios, the venue is also an ideal location for corporate events. Numerous spaces can be privatized, including the spectacular nave, measuring 4,280 m2 and with an impressive ceiling height and volume worthy of the most lavish of occasions.

For a true cinematic experience, the Cité also welcomes tour groups (school groups included) for a guided visit of the different spaces (duration: 1hr 45 mins). The tour begins in the nave where some iconic costumes and film sets can be seen, The Fifth Element for example, before continuing on to one of the nine film sets. The visit ends on a high note with a projection of excerpts of films shot at the Cité and some behind-the-scenes footage of the venue during construction.

Also available: a brand new 432-seater auditorium, film studios (9 film sets equipped with the latest technology, ranging in size from 600 to 2,100 m2), and the restaurant (with a capacity for 1,500 people for a cocktail reception and 650 people for a seated meal). The restaurant also boasts an adjoining mezzanine.
