Already known for three amazing salons, the Musée des Arts Forains (Museum of Fairground Art), the Théâtre du Merveilleux, and the Salons Vénitiens (Venetian Rooms),  Jean-Paul Favand,  the emblematic ‘maitre des lieux’ , has given the Pavillons a new space made entirely of wood.

Magic Mirrors saw huge success in Belgium from the 1920s to the 1960s. These tents filled with moving mirrors were places for dancing and socializing and would be transported from village to another for different festivals and celebrations.

The one at the Pavillons de Bercy is one of the six original mirror tents that remain today. It dates back to1925 and has been erected, restored and displayed for the first time in France.
