Niki de Saint Phalle, exhibition

from Wednesday 17 September 2014 to Monday 02 February 2015

Voluptuous figures.Known above all for her series entitled "Nanas", which recall the voluptuous forms of Botero. Through these forms, Niki de Saint Phalle took a position against the pre-1970s female condition. However, this retrospective at the Grand Palais also introduces us to a side of Niki de Saint Phalle that is somewhat lesser known, including protean works, ranging from cinematic and performance art to written pieces.
