Office du Tourisme et des Congrès de Paris - Bureau Hôtel de Ville - Tablette et vue panoramique, Paris

Created in 1971 at the joint initiative of the Paris City Council and the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau carries out three key missions:

Welcoming and informing visitors

Every year, the Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau informs nearly 500,000 tourists at its 2 welcome centres located in Paris, and 12 million unique visitors on its website parisinfo.com dedicated to the general public. It provides complete, official, thematic and up-to-date information, following the latest news and trends in the capital. The accessible and optimized sales area for tourism products allows visitors to prepare their trip, buy their tickets and have them delivered where they wish, or pick them up at the main information centre – 29, rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris.

Promoting the destinations abroad

The professional website convention.parisinfo.com provides information and tailor-made services to organize corporate events and congresses, or to follow the latest news from the sector. Our BtoB marketing team, in collaboration with Parisian professionals, promotes the Parisian business and leisure tourism offer to operators and media. The Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau also supports the capital's bids to host major national and international congresses.

Federating Parisian tourism professionals

The Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau is also a unique platform for exchange between Parisian tourism professionals - nearly 1,700 of whom are members of the association – to make contacts during numerous networking and information events.
