New venues for your seminars and receptions
New venues for professional events and spaces for private hire have been springing up all over Paris this year. Take inspiration from the latest Parisian offerings, catering for all requirements and budgets.
IN A HOTEL
After a 4-year relifting, the Pullman Paris Montparnasse, the iconic Left Bank hotel, has reopened. Ideally located, the venue is an important conference centre with many possibilities for professional events (a unique 7-m-high plenary hall and a surface area of 742 m², 55 meeting rooms, 800 m² of planted terraces, 3 restaurants, a rooftop terrace ...).
The brand Kopster (Lavorel Hotels) opens a hotel in Paris (opening: march 2023) with the Kopster Hotel & Residence Paris Ouest Colombes. An original apartment-hotel concept, a few minutes from La Défense, offering 700 m² of flexible meeting rooms (up to 250 people), as well as a restaurant (100 seats) with traditional French cuisine and a friendly atmosphere. Your events will benefit from views of the Eiffel Tower from the restaurant, as well as from the rooftop terrace which has a bar with a panoramic view of the capital.
Just inaugurated after a complete makeover, the Grand Magic Hotel offers an immersive experience at Disneyland® Paris. It can host seminars for up to 300 people (680 m² of spaces). This original establishment (inspired by the Grand Budapest Hotel) provides a tranquil and leafy environment, the perfect conditions for a corporate event.
A new secret address tucked away in the 13th arrondissement, a few steps from Place d’Italie, the Hôtel Rosalie offers 60 guest rooms, a meeting room for 20 people, a restaurant and a peaceful garden. A delightful spot, this hotel which opened in May 2022, only works with local partners, and focuses on a genuine strategy of sustainability.
For its 3rd Parisian address, the lifestyle hotel chain Mama Shelter moved into the La Défense district last spring. The Mama Shelter La Défense continues to shake up the traditional codes of the hotel industry with a very distinctive decoration and look. 211 rooms, a panoramic restaurant, a diner, a Sport's Bar and an entire space dedicated to meetings and events right in the centre of the capital's business district.
IN A DEDICATED VENUE
For intimate meetings and seminars in one-of-a-kind places, take a look at Metafore: upscale fully equipped, flexible and sustainable venues. Book a venue in the heart of Paris with Metafore Boetie, on the edge of the Bois de Vincennes with Metafore Vincennes Foch, or opt for the newly-opened Metafore Liège Blanche, for an event taking centre stage. Each Metafore venue has stylish and inspiring interiors, attentive service, and quality cuisine by a Michelin-starred chef.
IN A CULTURAL SETTING
Galerie du 19M is the new cultural centre in Paris devoted to preserving art manufacturing and the promotion of arts & crafts and design. This multipurpose place with original architecture is in turn a place for exhibitions, meetings, making new discoveries and creating ... The hybrid and flexible building (agora, studio, cafe, terrace) makes it possible to envisage holding a corporate event that is different and creative.
The Musée de Cluny – Musée national du Moyen-Âge has reopened after a period of modernization work, and offers prestigious and historic spaces for professional events. Imagine an event in the courtyard of the medieval Cluny town house, in the spectacular frigidarium or in the Notre-Dame room ... a unique atmosphere, with masterpieces of medieval art.
In a few weeks the Cité de l’Histoire will open its doors. Over a surface area of 6,000 m², three unique and immersive attractions to discover some of the greatest sagas of French and world history. This venue, under the Grande Arche de La Défense, is also available for private receptions.
Les Folies Gruss transports you into a magical and offbeat world for a unique experience linked to the famous Alexis Gruss circus (equestrian, aerial and comic show with a live orchestra and a singer). Three modular spaces, with surprising atmospheres, can be fully or partially hired during the day or in the evening for original professional events.
IN A RESTAURANT
Tucked away under the arcades of Place des Vosges, in the heart of the Marais, the house-museum of Victor Hugo now has a cafe restaurant, the Café Mulot. The elegant interior lounge is available for bespoke private events: visit and gourmet snack in the museum, cocktail reception, or sit-down dinner. The cafe is run by Maison Mulot, a longstanding pâtissier and caterer in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district.
The restaurant on the 1st floor of the Eiffel Tower is offering a new experience: Madame Brasserie by chef Thierry Marx. A timeless culinary journey with a breathtaking view of Paris for all your corporate events, from breakfast to dinner.
A new restaurant in the 10th arrondissement, the Maria Belza is located by the side of the Canal St-Martin. The establishment, which has been designed as ‘a little Biarritz in Paris’, offers Basque-inspired cuisine in an amazing setting! The restaurant welcomes groups: several different spaces are available and can be adapted according to the reception and options chosen.
IN A SPORTS HALL
Climb Up Paris – Porte d’Italie, the new climbing venue in Paris (4,000 m²), offers sporty, fun, and original team-building sessions ... as well as a meeting room (80 m²) and catering facilities to complete your professional event.
IN A GAMES ROOM
A new address this autumn, the 3 bis Paris is an unusual and vast games bar (500 m² of modular space). For an event for some ‘time out’, hire a private lounge or a meeting room with original interiors or plan a reception directly in the games bar.
