One of our most recent achievements for a group of 700 people in the cosmetics sector is a perfect example … During a week in Paris, participants were able to appreciate our creativity through a range of different events.
The welcome evening function organized under the pyramid of the Louvre Museum – fully privatized for the occasion, was designed to create a relaxing atmosphere in which people could socialize. The evening was rounded off with, private guided tours of certain parts of the museum in small groups with an interpreter.
The daytime programme included meetings at the Grand Hotel Intercontinental, their hotel, and at the Cinéma Gaumont Opéra, used for the occasion for its superb amphitheatre; combined with other no-less stimulating activities, (which show what splendours the Paris destination has to offer), including, among others, visits to Senlis, the Château de Chantilly and the house and gardens of Monet, at Giverny.
Although three Bateaux Parisiens were required to organize an evening dinner cruise, the private visit to Cartier in rue de la Paix the next day was more ‘intimate’, in keeping with the acknowledged idea of French luxury. Ten or so top achievers were invited to celebrate their results in style and the chairmen presented them with a voucher worth several thousands of dollars to spend in the shop opened exclusively for them.
A fitting end to such an event had to be held somewhere as sumptuous as Versailles. The Orangery was therefore the prestigious venue for the gala dinner. Particularly appreciated was the moment when guests strolled around the chateau – fully privately hired for them for the occasion – coming across actors and musicians dressed in the costumes of the period, so as to create a perfectly authentic atmosphere.
Saint Clair, one of Paris’s most famous caterers, masterminded the dinner and the applause at the end together with a standing ovation showed that the evening had been a success and justly appreciated.
