Preserving the industrial past of the place, the Atelier des Lumières shows unprecedented digital exhibitions using cutting-edge technology to display art across a vast surface of 3,300 m², from floor to ceiling. Artworks and videos are projected onto the walls using 120 video projectors. For its opening, Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele are the focus in the main Hall, with an immersive experience of the Klimt fresco in the Secession Building in Vienna. A shorter, more contemporary programme is dedicated to Friedensreich Hunderwasser, an architect and fervent defender of the natural world. The Studio gives carte blanche to digital artists capable of creating a stunning visual universe.
The Atelier des Lumières is also an original new events venue in Paris. Three spaces are available for private hire for seminars, meetings, product launches, or even catwalk shows: the Hall can host from 50 to 1,200 people in a cocktail party format, or 700 for dinner, and the Studio and the Mezzanine can each host up to 150 people in a cocktail party format. At any time of day, the client can choose between the original industrial interiors, a projection of the current exhibition, or a bespoke visual universe. Also offered are VIP visits to current exhibitions for up to 100 people with breakfast or a cocktail reception. A journey into another world guaranteed for your guests!
