Laid out under a wooden structure, the ethnic decor with cushions in colourful fabrics, Berber carpets and strings of lights are an invitation to escape and relax. Chef David Réal serves up wholesome seasonal products such as pumpkin, scallops and foie gras, ideal for a convivial lunch or dinner.
The most trendy – Auteuil Brasserie
Housed in the former Auteuil train station, the Auteuil Brasserie is an Italian trattoria with an original menu and talented mixologists. Spread over several floors, it has a superb 250 m² rooftop terrace furnished with natural materials and plenty of greenery. The trendy terrace offers cosy comfort with winter decor, blankets, furry cushions and patio heaters – ideal for a warm and friendly after-work event. It is available for private hire for events up to 300 people in cocktail configuration.
The most cocooning: Novotel Paris les Halles 4*
The Private Garden of the hotel Novotel Paris Les Halles, surrounded by greenery, is a haven of peace away from the tumult of the 1st arrondissement where it is located. In winter, a heated dome covers a part of the garden so that you can enjoy T’Time, a gourmet break with original pastries, as well as delicious cocktails and savoury platters in the early evening. The winter dome is available for private hire for up to 40 people.
The most chic – Le Ritz Paris 5*
This year, the festive season at the Ritz Paris has a traditional theme with colours in red, gold and white. The outdoor areas are decked out for the occasion in the finest illuminations. For a business lunch or an after-work event the Bar Vendôme and its glass conservatory, which opens out onto a terrace, turn into a winter garden with velvet armchairs. The Grand Garden (1,600 m²) offers a stunning setting for an event in the pure French tradition with a fountain, clipped boxwood and alcoves. The reception rooms, ‘Salon d’Eté’ and ‘Salon César Ritz’, each 90 m², open onto large heated terraces.
The most breathtaking: the Café de l’Homme
The Café de l’Homme announces the return of its winter garden! A transparent glass tent, covered and heated stands on the right wing of the cafe’s magnificent terrace. Available for private hire, this ephemeral venue (70 people seated and 100 people for a cocktail reception) offers a spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower and the Trocadéro fountains. The remainder of the terrace is open according to weather conditions, has patio heaters and can accommodate up to 120 people for a cocktail reception.
The cosiest – L’Hôtel du Collectionneur 5*
For winter, the splendid garden of the terrace of the Hôtel du Collectionneur houses an atypical chalet transformed into a bar of curiosities. This cosy wooden space with chairs adorned with furs and cushions, mixes styles and eras and features a magnificent collection of objects and pieces of art. Accommodating 30 people seated and 45 for a cocktail reception, this unusual place offers a total change of scene right in the centre of Paris, for any event.
The most confidential: Hôtel le Marois France Amériques
Tucked away in the heart of the golden triangle, the hôtel particulier Marois France Amériques, renovated in 2018, boasts a magnificent 280 m² terrace. Equipped with patio heaters, it can host winter events for up to 250 people in cocktail configuration, in total privacy. The terrace, which looks onto the magnificent illuminated facade of the Palais de la Découverte, can also be privately hired together with one of several reception rooms (up to 700 people). Catering is provided by Butard Enescot, ensuring a gourmet event!
The most enchanting: The Peninsula Paris 5*
The palace Peninsula Paris always takes Christmas seriously! This year, the Kléber terrace, one of the largest covered terraces in the French capital (100 people), is decked out with Christmas baubles and two 2-m high Nutcracker figures to create a mini wonderland. Igloos serve as refreshment points for hot drinks and snacks during the day, and a selection of delicacies (foie gras, caviar, sea urchins ...) wines, champagnes and vodka in the evening. The most bucolic – Mandarin Oriental 5*
The Mandarin Oriental hotel is situated on Rue Saint-Honoré. Behind its impressive facade lies a lush garden full of Asian charm, refinement and comfort. This 200 m² teak terrace with large sofas is covered and heated, and resembles a mini oasis far removed from the hustle and bustle of Paris. The most captivating – Les Pavillons de Bercy
Well-known for their rooms mixing old games and wonderful decorations, the Pavillons de Bercy take on a frosty mantle for the holiday season! The paved private street, at the heart of the reception spaces dotted with numerous illuminations and Christmas trees, welcomes your events up to 1,200 people in its magical setting. The Piazza (500 m²), which is rented with the Venetian rooms (800 m²), hosts your events up to 300 people. The Pavillons offer a natural heating system of Canadian logs that burn from the inside, providing both heat and a fine sight.
