Novotel Paris Porte de Versailles
The Novotel Paris Porte de Versailles, 5 minutes by car from Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, is the smart new hotel in the district. With 245 rooms, including 6 suites (60 m²), with sleek, bright and airy interiors, and 4 meeting rooms (76 m² for the largest) for up to 50 people, plus state-of-the-art technology, the establishment is geared to business clientele. In February, it will open a restaurant with a Mediterranean menu and in June will unveil its magnificent rooftop, which will also have a restaurant.
The Prince de Galles
The 5-star Prince de Galles Hotel, situated in the chic 8th arrondissement, unveils its new Lalique Suite, (the hotel’s largest suite), on the occasion of its 90th anniversary. The bespoke renovation of the suite is the result of close collaboration between renowned designer Patrick Hellmann and the master glass manufacturer Lalique - the jewel of French crystal making. This luxurious 180 m² art deco suite, spread over two levels, is a symbol of French-style luxury. High-quality materials and lighting effects embellish this space, perfectly adapted to a demanding business clientele. The highlight of the visit is its 100 m² terrace with a breathtaking view of the rooftops and monuments of Paris.
The Loft is Accor's new mobile accommodation concept. It moves from place to place and event to event to offer an immersive and distinctive hospitality experience. Bright and airy with one-way windows and self-sufficient in terms of energy and water for three days, the Loft can accommodate up to 6 guests with all the comforts of a classic hotel. This 30 m² design living space has two double beds that can be converted into 4 single beds on the first floor and a double bedroom on the ground floor. It also has a fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom, dry toilets and a terrace to enjoy the outdoor environment.
InterContinental Paris Le Grand
After a first phase of renovation begun in early 2018, the InterContinental Paris Le Grand is presenting its three new ‘Signature Suites’ for the end of the year. The 130 m² Charles Garnier Suite, inspired by Swan Lake, offers a breathtaking view of the roof of the Palais Garnier opera house, while the 100 m² La Parisienne, with a view of the Eiffel Tower, features an ivory and powder pink palette of colours to create softness and elegance. Finally, the 150 m² The Pearl Suite has two bedrooms and combines art deco style with Middle East influences.
Ponton Gustave – Vedettes de Paris
The famous Vedettes de Paris cruise company unveils its new event pontoon ‘Gustave!’, next February. Modern and stylish, this floating venue dedicated exclusively to events offers a unique waterfront setting, facing the Eiffel Tower and Trocadero. Receptions, seminars, cocktail receptions or meetings for up to 230 guests can be held on the glassed over upper deck and on the 360° terrace, or in the 100 m² VIP lounge on the lower deck, ideal for seminars and evening functions.
The Museum of Illusions
A few days before the Christmas holidays, the long-awaited ‘Museum of Illusions’ opens its doors in the heart of Paris. More than 70 illusions offer you a multi-sensory and fun experience. For an original and interactive event, you can privately hire the museum and choose how you would like to adapt it to you company colours. Ideal for a product launch; defy the laws of perception by customizing the museum's rooms as you would like. The 400 m² space can host your event with a cocktail reception and all kinds of entertainment for up to 200 people.
Sea Bar à la Brasserie du Lutetia
It was just around a year ago that the three-starred chef Gérald Passedat, at the helm of the new Brasserie du Lutetia, unveiled a menu based on Mediterranean seafood. He continues to surprise with the inauguration of the Sea Bar, with his twist on the concept of chic snacking. Customers are seated around a marble counter with a view of an open kitchen, where the chef serves up a gourmet surprise menu in 7 stages based on Mediterranean seafood. Oysters, langoustines, Saint-Jacques ... Culinary creations follow on from one to the next revealing surprising flavours.
