Whether you are looking for a garden with trees at a museum, the trendy rooftop of a new events venue or the bucolic terrace of a luxury hotel, Paris offers many outdoor options for your afterwork event, professional dinner or private reception. Take a look at our favourite Parisian terraces and gardens for private hire this summer!
Get a bird’s-eye view at the Kluster rooftop
Just opposite the Gare de Lyon train station, close to the Seine, is the new Kluster Business Center — an events space entirely devoted to corporate events, with an emphasis on innovation, technology and conviviality. Head to the 17th and 18th floors of the building by private lift to discover the cosy magnificent Laho Skybar and the modern rooftop with artful splashes of colour! This relaxed setting overlooking the station clocktower is ideal for afterwork events and cocktail buffets for up to 90 people. And the cherry on the top of the cake? The Kluster has a 160-people capacity auditorium, and the Yachts de Paris boat company can drop you off right at the foot of the building!
Be impressed at the Jardin des Plantes
The Jardin des Plantes, a 26-hectare botanical garden created in 1626, in central Paris, has many outside spaces for an event in an historical and elegant green setting, for up to 3,000 people! You can choose between the square areas (600 m² each), at the centre of the French gardens with their beautiful flowerbeds; the 3,000 m² esplanade below the Grande Galerie de l’Evolution (for up to 1,500 people); the ‘Summer’ garden, a 1,200 m² lawn with private access to the Grandes Serres (hothouses) in the evening; or the Allée Cuvier (2 500 m²), for a bucolic interlude in the heart of the capital.
Surprise guests at the Aquarium de Paris
Make the most of the summer season by hosting an event in a remarkable setting! Accessible only in good weather, the terrace of the Aquarium of Paris, in Trocadero Gardens, in the heart of the golden triangle, welcomes your large-scale events for up to 800 people for a cocktail reception. Fully modular, it offers a stunning unobstructed view of the Eiffel Tower just opposite. Also, worth noting, the recently opened jellyfish section in the Aquarium is available for private hire for a memorable reception. In total, the Aquarium can host up to 2,000 people for your events.
Go on a safari at the Westin Paris Vendôme
Enjoy a trip to the savannah on the temporary summer terrace of the Westin Paris Vendôme! A few steps from the Tuileries Gardens, discover this decor and a ‘back from travelling vibe’ through ethnic crafts, warm colours and natural materials styled to perfection. Don't miss the inspired cooking of Chef David Réal, who this summer has put together a menu of exotic dishes such as albacore tuna with ginger or lamb sausage tajine. The terrace is available for partial or full private hire for up to 130 people for a sit-down meal or 200 people for a cocktail reception.
Admire the Eiffel Tower from the Hotel Bowmann
Opened in June 2018, the Hotel Bowmann strikes a perfect balance between tradition and modernity with its discrete and elegant luxury, reflecting Parisian art de vivre. For your outdoor events, the establishment offers two spaces: the terrace in the inner courtyard of the building — an extension of the restaurant — accommodates up to 60 people; and the magnificent terrace of the top floor suite, which can be hired independently of the room for events for up to 40 people for a cocktail party. This terrace has designer furniture and affords a wonderful view of Paris and the Eiffel Tower.
Travel through the romantic era at the Musée Delacroix
On the charming Place de Fürstenberg in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the Musée Delacroix is a haven of peace, housed in the artist’s former apartment. It has a beautiful garden, laid out by Delacroix like a hermitage in the centre of Paris. With 400 m² in total, of which 100 m² are convertible, this atypical peaceful green space, with an abundance of flowering and fruiting plants, welcomes your events under a marquee for up to 80 people for a cocktail reception and 40 for a seated dinner. It regularly shows work by contemporary artists.
Enjoy a VIP setting at the New Cap Event Center
The New Cap Event Center and events venue (renovated in 2016) on Rue de Grenelle has an impressive rooftop space with a glass roof. The 80 m² interior space has two wrap-round covered and heated terraces (50 m² and 40 m² respectively) Positioned between the Bir-Hakeim Bridge, the Seine, Trocadéro and the Eiffel Tower, this venue offers you Paris on a silver platter and plays host to all types of events including workshops, press conferences and private dinners for up to 100 people.
Enjoy an historic interlude at the Musée d’Art et d’Histoire du Judaïsme
Housed in the very fine hôtel particulier Saint-Aignan, in the heart of the Marais, the Musée d’Art et d’Histoire du Judaïsme provides an exceptional setting for your events. In addition to an auditorium and reception room under former vaulted stables, the museum also has an open-air space, the ‘Cour d'Honneur’, which can be privately hired in fine weather. This majestic 17th-century rectangular courtyard, with a surface of 468 m², can host up to 300 guests seated or 800 for a cocktail reception. An event here can be combined with a private tour of the museum’s permanent collections.
Enjoy drinks with guests at the Crowne Plaza Paris - Neuilly
The Crowne Plaza Paris - Neuilly, on the edge of Paris close to the Arc de Triomphe, throws open the doors of its beautiful summer terrace for you, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Renovated in early 2019, the terrace in the centre of the hotel offers a view of the garden and its wide, open spaces and welcomes your events for up to 100 people for a cocktail reception. It is also the perfect place for an afterwork event in the sun with a glass of champagne from a selection of 70, or for lunch with colleagues to sample the new summer menu. Plus, the hotel has 1,100 m² of meeting space, divided into 19 modular rooms.
