From domes to Alpine ski chalets, Parisian venues and terraces take on a new life for the festive period and welcome your after-work events, business meals and evening functions.
The Nave of the Grand Palais
The GrandPalais des Glaces, the world's largest indoor skating rink, is back this year! Installed under the nave of one of the most beautiful monuments in Paris, this gigantic 3,000 m² skating rink will be open from 13 December to 8 January only. In addition to the ice rink, there will be a bar, a restaurant area and a lounge area. The GrandPalais des Glaces can either be hired out in its entirety for up to 4,500 people, or partially with the Balcon d'Honneur (300 people) and the north or south ‘promenoirs’ (250 people per ‘promenoir’).
Les Jardins de Bagatelle
For winter, the Jardins de Bagatelle, on the edge of the Bois de Boulogne, become Gliss by Bagatelle. Bucolic and green in the summer, the place turns into a ski resort with a 40 m² skating rink, a life-size ski simulator, a snowy photocall and an Ice Club bar. Available for an unconventional cocktail reception for up to 200 people or a sit-down meal for up to 100 people. A la carte, authentic Savoyard cuisine served by staff in colourful ski gear!
After Polpo Beach, here comes Polpo North! The famous barge from the West of Paris is now in winter mode. Fir trees, fireplaces, blankets and a skating rink decorate the venue, which offers a warming and gourmet menu, mulled wine and vodka-based Arctic and Polar cocktails for the occasion. Ideal for an evening function with dancing or a cocktail party for up to 100 people.
Westin Paris Vendôme
The Westin Paris-Vendôme unveils its winter cocoon! This warm and welcoming dome, decorated like a Scandinavian chalet, will transport you to the land of fjords over a meal, a pastry or a cocktail. Novotel Paris les Halles
The winter dome in the Private Garden of the Novotel Paris les Halles is back this year! From December onwards, it will also provide a magical setting for the festive season. Here too, you can taste the delicious pastries of Chef Quentin Lechat – this year’s winner of the Grand Prix de la Pâtisserie de Paris – during the hotel’s famous ‘Tea Time’, as well as the cuisine of Chef Jonathan Brandouy and original cocktails.
L’Hippodrome de ParisLongchamp
The Panorama, event space in the Hippodrome de ParisLongchamp, available for private hire for up to 350 people for a sit-down meal and 550 for a cocktail reception, transforms into a Scandinavian forest! Renamed Nordic Wood, this modern venue with a magnificent view of the Bois de Boulogne offers a dreamlike journey through a decor of vegetation. On the terrace, a ‘dome’ associates projection technology and an immersed cocktail bar, while the rooftop is adorned with a wooden cabin serving novel cocktails and mulled wines. Many activities are available, such as DJ sets, rollerblades and even body art.
The trendy 16th arrondissement Auteuil Brasserie is a cosy winter escape! Plaid blankets and fur cushions on benches, tables with arctic decoration and braziers to keep you warm give the place a wonderful friendly atmosphere. This Italian trattoria presents an original seasonal menu and delicious cocktails on its impressive 250 m² rooftop, available for partial or full private hire, for any type of private event, for up to 300 people in cocktail format.
The Peninsula Paris
The Peninsula Paris has something quite unique in store this winter season: a private ice rink on the huge roof terrace of the Katara Suite! Available for private hire for up to 40 people for a cocktail party and for 20 for a sit-down meal; the suite offers a breathtaking view of the monuments and rooftops of Paris, to admire as you skate around the ice, with or without a private coach. For an event in small groups of up to 15 people, opt for the yurt on the Kléber terrace on the ground floor – a trip to a traditional Mongolian house with an exotic cocktail menu.

The Eiffel Tower
The first floor of the Eiffel tower plays host to an impressive transparent dome inside which is an 80-cover restaurant. An alternative to the Tower’s restaurant, currently closed for work, this pop-up eatery serves bistro cooking and platters to share, including products from the Guilde des Artisans de la Tour and Viennese pastries by Thierry Marx. Next to the dome, an ephemeral wine cellar in partnership with the Winerie Parisienne will produce the first Eiffel Tower vintage in spring 2020!
