European Night of Museums - May 21, 2022
The evening of May 21, museums across France and Europe open their doors free of charge. Conceived to raise awareness among the general public of the richness of Europe’s cultural heritage, this festive event organized by the Ministry of Culture begins at sunset and ends just after midnight. Visit the city’s museums in a different way through guided tours, workshops, screenings and special installations.
European Heritage Days - September 17 to 18, 2022
Get a behind the scenes glimpse of Paris during one of the most widely celebrated cultural events in Europe. European Heritage Days encourage visitors to enjoy free visits to numerous monuments and sites usually closed to the public. Over the course of the weekend special events, workshops and exclusive tours will take place at participating venues such as Hotel de Ville, the Institut de France and Palais Royal.
Grand Prix d'Amérique – January 30, 2022 – Hippodrome de Vincennes
The Grand Prix d’Amerique was founded to honour American soldiers' contribution in France during the first world war and is the most well-known trotting race in the world. With a grand prize of 500,000 euros the equestrian meeting attracts international media coverage from over 30 countries.
