Musée du Quai Branly-Jacques Chirac – Les Ombres
Perched on the roof-top terrace of the Musée du Quai Branly, just across from the Eiffel Tower, the restaurant Les Ombres affords a stunning view of the Iron Lady. This restaurant entirely of glass, designed by Jean Nouvel, recently underwent a facelift, and offers completely redesigned, more contemporary interiors and a new menu created by the Chef Rui Martins who puts the focus on paying homage to French cuisine’s 100 cult recipes. The vast terrace, an extension of the dining room, opens during the summer season for memorable outdoor events. The restaurant can host your cocktail parties or gala dinners for up to 110 people seated and 200 standing.
La Maison de l’Amérique Latine
In the heart of Faubourg Saint Germain, the Maison de l’Amérique Latine is made up of two 18th-century mansion houses opening out onto magnificent French style gardens. A favoured place for the Latin American cultural and diplomatic community in Paris, this venue also hosts professional or private events for up to 1,500 people. The Maison de l’Amérique Latine has numerous reception rooms, some contemporary in style, others romantic, listed at historic monuments and welcoming all types of events from a study day to a seminar, right through to a wedding. In addition to these function rooms, there is also a 100-seat auditorium, and, during the warmer months, there is the possibility of organizing a superb garden party for up to 1,200 people in the gardens.
Le Restaurant du Musée d’Orsay
A former railway station built for the World Fair of 1900, the Musee d’Orsay now houses Western art for the period 1848 to 1914. Situated in the Pavillon Amont featuring international decorative art of the 1900s, the Restaurant du Musée d’Orsay offers magnificent decor, in which the gilding highlights the ceilings of the Grande Salle (a listed monument), and the Petit Salon is decorated with frescoes by Gabriel Ferrier and Benjamin Constant. Take advantage of this exceptional venue to hold an event for up to 600 people for a cocktail reception, along with a private tour of the permanent collections or a visit to the exhibition currently showing.
Musée du Louvre - Le Café Richelieu
Tucked away in the Musée du Louvre, a few steps from the apartment of Napoleon III, Café Richelieu offers a prestigious setting for your professional events up to 80 people for a sit-down dinner and 150 for a cocktail reception. This cafe serves the famous Angelina cakes in a powdery and contemporary decor. Savoury dishes on the menu take inspiration from French brasserie classics revisited for timeless moments of culinary and cultural pleasure. At the first rays of sunshine, enjoy sitting out on the terrace of the establishment, which offers a panoramic view of the Louvre pyramid.
Palace of Versailles – La Petite Venise
At the heart of the Versailles estate, between the Fountain of Apollo and the Grand Canal, La Petite Venise welcomes your corporate meals and events for up to 100 people seated and 150 for a cocktail reception. Formerly home to the construction site of the royal flotilla sailing on the Grand Canal, the buildings that make up the restaurant date from the reign of Louis XIV. Ideally suited to a bucolic seminar or lunch, La Petite Venise consists of a large main room, a private lounge, and a terrace, and offers authentic Italian cuisine in a refined setting.
