A museum on the history of Paris, the Musée Carnavalet has collections that show the development of the city, from prehistoric times to the present day. Established in two mansions at the heart of the Marais, it displays, a vast range of art and mementos evoking the daily intellectual life of the capital in a historical setting. Available for private hire in the evening except on Thursdays.
